Lord! Your Measurement Is Pleasant for Me, Minna Kang From my youth, I've always had a weak body. When I describe my symptoms to the doctors, they seem scared from their varieties. Since I started the Full-Time Training in Anaheim, I've had several health problems. These different health problems gave me so much trouble and caused me to go from doctor to doctor to find solutions. Some of the health problems were solved by taking medication, but the other health problems seemed to be without cause or cure. My heart was very troubled. I complained to the Lord by saying, Lord, why are You giving me so much trouble? I am still young. I shouldn't be always weak and tired like this. I know You sent me to the Training for a purpose. I don't think lying on my bed will fulfill Your purpose. What is it that You want from me? Every time when I had pain in my body I also had pain in my soul. I couldn't find the answer until this last term. In one of the Wednesday night meetings, the message was given on chapter sixteen of the book of Psalms. Here we saw how the Lord Jesus lived such a life in oneness with the Father. He is the only One who is qualified to dwell on Jehovah's holy mountain. In verse 6 it says the measuring lines have fallen on pleasant places for me; indeed the inheritance is beautiful to me. Witness Lee pointed out that the Lord accepted all the environments God had measured for Him. He did not murmur or complain (Phil. 2:14). He just accepted them and thanked the Father. I suddenly saw the light that my health problems were my Father's measuring for me. As I accepted it as my measure and thanked and praised the Lord my heart became full of joy and peace. Now my health problems are still there, but something is different about them. I am not bitter anymore. I just turn my heart to the Lord and praise Him for them. I can say, Lord, these situations don't matter to me anymore. I thank You for measuring out these situations that I can gain You more. I praise You and love You so much. God's love and light freed me from my sorrows and worries, and more wonderfully, God is working Himself into me through every situation (2 Cor. 4:7).
